The aim of this research work is Synthesis ZnO/SiO2 with Palash leaves extract nanocatalyst by green synthesis route. contain a broad variability bio-molecules which act as capping and reducing agents increases the rate reduction stabilization nanoparticles. Nanocatalyst synthesized method are eco-friendly cheap. No has been found on Butea monosperma (Palash) ZnO This palash extracts nanocatalysts made using was used for removal COD (mg/l) polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons pollutants from petrochemical industrial wastewater. characterized BET surface area, FEG-SEM, EDAX, XRD, FTIR. Results show that we have area 160.23 m2/g SEM micrograph shows spot nano range particles. From test it nanoparticles in 3 to 35 nm average particle diameter 15.8nm. XRD EDAX result SiO2 ZnO. FTIR results Zn-O, Si-O-Si stretching at 1004.95, 861.24 cm-1 1270.17 respectively. optimum percent acenaphthene (polycyclic hydrocarbon) pollutant 70 % 79% respectably 0.5g/500ml catalyst loading, 30oC temperature 4h reaction time. In Future can be remove other PAH phenolic compounds wastewater under visible light also treat effectively. Copyright © 2018 VBRI Press.
